How will you pay me for my vehicle?
Our standard method of payment is an immediate bank transfer straight into your account. This service is completely free and in most cases is (can be) done soon after you accepting (accept) our offer.

What documents do I need to sell my car?
The only document that we really do need is your V5c, otherwise known as your log book.

Oh no, I’ve lost my V5/Log book, what can I do?
You can get a replacement V5 document by completing a V62 Form which can be downloaded from www.dvla.gov.uk. Alternatively you can pick one up from your local Post Office. Please bear in mind that it can take up to 4 weeks before you receive your V5 document.

But I have outstanding finance on my car?
This is no problem at all! We are more than happy to settle any outstanding finance on your vehicle and we will simply pay the difference.

What happens if my outstanding finance is more than the car is worth?
Again this isn’t a problem. We would be happy to settle your outstanding finance on the vehicle but you may need to pay us the balance. We do accept most forms of payments.

Are there any cars or vans you won’t buy?
Erm.... No! We buy any car or van regardless of condition, mileage and whether they run or not.

My car does not appear when I type in my registration?
There are a few reasons why this may happen, don’t worry this doesn’t mean that we don’t like your car, please just email us here whydoyounotlikemycar@sellthecar.co.uk and we will be in touch shortly.

Do you have any charges or fees like some of your competitors?
Nope! We have no charges or fees what so ever. The price we offer is the price you will get!
